REA ("Reverse Engineer Anything") is an MIT-licensed open-source project at github.com/morluto/rea that gives AI coding agents a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server and a command-line tool for inspecting native binaries, JavaScript and Electron apps, .NET assemblies, Android packages and websites. RepoRead explains it step by step, and covers related projects that connect agents to tools such as Ghidra and IDA.
RepoRead is an independent reader's guide, not the official REA documentation. The official sources are the morluto/rea repository, rea.tools and the rea-agents npm package.
